About Us

Palo Altans Against Measure A are a grass roots group of homeowners who have most lived in Palo Alto from 25-55 years.  The committee worked together to research the issues leading up to Measure I in the Fall of 2004, and reorganized in the Spring of 2005 to continue their researches necessary to oppose Measure A.

Palo Altans Against Measure A is open to people who are opposed to this tax, and are willing to help like-minded people organize and participate in the political process that will result in a special election on June 7th, 2005.

Palo Altans Against Measure A is comprised of Palo Alto residents who love children and believe in quality education -- but oppose waste in education financing.

Palo Altans Against Measure A is not affiliated with outside political parties, or groups with clear self-interests.
